Just thought I'd pop in to say hi and wish you all well.
This isn't going to be a nice long 'photo eee' (is that a word? Or two words to be precise?) post, 'cos as the title says I'm just not with it at the moment.
As you know (or may not know) my eldest lovely daughter has epilepsy, and she has been having a very bad time of things these last couple weeks.
I mean she has seizures every day and night anyway, but these past couple of weeks have been awful for her.
When her seizures don't stop of their own accord, we have this revolting tasting medicine that we have to administer to her, (orally with a syringe) and she's had to have oodles of the horrid stuff :(
We've had some close calls as to whether we should take her to the hospital or call the emergency services too. As she's only supposed to have a certain amount within 24hrs, otherwise it can be quite dangerous, lowers your blood pressure etc..
It's been pretty close I can tell you.
Anyway, I haven't felt much like writing cheery posts, although I've been popping round to a few of you!
Fingers crossed, she's starting to slow the bad ones down now. So hopefully over the next few days she'll be back to her 'normal' seizures.
Still, it often happens, so I shouldn't grumble!

Gosh that sounds awful! The poor little girl and her family of course too. It must be so hard for everyone. Is there nothing else they can do? It seems a very scary way to live. I'm thinking of you today.
